FLINT, Michigan — Flint Families are invited to celebrate Halloween by joining Mayor Sheldon Neeley and the Flint Police Department for Harvest Fest from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the newly renovated Flint Police Department mini station at Bishop and Martin Luther King Avenues. The event will have candy, games, food and more for families.
The mini stations are open to the public and community organizations can also use the space to host group meetings. This event will be one of many community engagement opportunities between the Flint Police Department and residents.
“It is important that we host family events like this as a tool to bridge the gap between law enforcement and community,” Mayor Neeley said.
Mayor Neeley encourages all households to use the utmost caution and make decisions in the best interest of their families. All guests should wear face masks and follow the suggested trick-or-treating safety protocols.
