Carrie has been with the Flint Fire Department since 1999 and has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Provisional Suppression Sergeant, State of Michigan Fire Inspector, Instructor/Coordinator, Firefighter Instructor and Hazardous Material Technician. She has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the Fire Service profession and to the field of emergency medicine through her educational achievements and her career experience.

With a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Public Administration from Columbia Southern University, Carrie brings over 18 years of fire and EMS experience to this position. In addition to Carrie’s impressive fire service
history, she has extensive experience in administrative and grant management, EMS operations, legal/policy compliance and program management.
