FLINT, Michigan — Please be advised that City Hall offices are closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, 2021.
The City has been notified by Republic Services that waste, recycle and yard waste collection also will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.
“Memorial Day is a time for families and friends to pay respect to military loved ones,” Mayor Sheldon Neeley said. “I urge everyone to take time to remember and be thankful for all those who have served our country, especially those who died while protecting our freedoms.”
Reminder: Although Flint City Hall remains closed to the public due to COVID-19, city offices remain open and can be contacted by telephone from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays (except holidays).
The City of Flint also offers a walkup window to serve residents. It is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays (except holidays).
