Open House to Celebrate America Recycles Day

Who:    City of Flint, Republic Services, Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission and Keep Genesee County Beautiful
What:   Open House to celebrate America Recycles Day
When:   Wednesday, November 15, 2017,  10AM – 2PM
Where:
Parking lot behind Flint City Hall (off of 7th Street)

We will be supporting the City of Flint recycling initiative at the NEW Community Drop-off Recycling site and cider and donuts will be provided free of charge! Residents will be able to learn about the new drop-off recycling site, sign up for curbside recycling and discuss waste services provided to Flint residents. Please take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about recycling.

America Recycles Day has been a national holiday since 1997, and with the support of Keep America Beautiful, our local recycling partners ask that residents come and “Take the Pledge”. By pledging to recycle even one item, you can make a change to create a better future. By learning, acting on what you learn, and educating others, we challenge you to “Take the Pledge”.
