The City of Flint is announcing that City Attorney Peter Bade has today submitted his letter of resignation. Mr. Bade will resign his position as Chief Legal Officer effective 5:00 pm, January 1, 2016. City Administrator Natasha L. Henderson issued the following statement:
“Mr. Bade and his team have managed to provide professional legal services over the past 5 years within the budget constraints of the City, ending the past five years under budget and realizing a tremendous decrease in settlements and judgments, which is an incredible accomplishment. His leadership skills and historical knowledge as an attorney in the City of Flint will definitely leave a void, however I wish him well and feel honored to have served on the City’s Executive Team with him.”
